LEO the LION

I was browsing through sites (thats what I normally do when I have the time ;) and I found this picture which represents zodiac sign........ I am a LEO hence uploading the picture of LEO. I do have pictures of other zodiac signs aswell, just if anyone is interested let me know.......I will pass it on.........:-)

The Man I Love

They say "Marriages are Made In Heaven and Celebrated On Earth" , it has turned out true for me....
I had a Love Marriage........ My husband is from South and I am from West India...
We met when we were working together in a company....
As the days passed on we got to know each other more and more...... Then came a time when we knew that we wanted to stay with each other and we could live happily in-spite of the cultural differences , language differences.
And we are thankful to our parents who understood us. For them our happiness was more important. Our wedding was a grand celebration.
My husband is a gem of a person, his name is Ram Gopal.......
Its because of his Love and Care that I always feel like I am with my parents even though I am so far away from them...
Its his effort and confidence in me which got me job in "Google".
I am very proud of him and love him a lot....
When we got married many people said that Love marriages are failures and you will repent on ur decision.... But today i want to tell all of them that if there is "True Love" and "Faith in the person" , no relationship can fail...

This poem is dedicated to Ram .........

It was 23rd November 2004,
When we got married at the Heaven's door.
Our love has grown day by day....
Its been over an year and it still feels like the very first day.....
You have been my strength and also my support,
You are the one whom I love the most.
We will be with each other through the thick and the thin,
In every Tear and in every Grin
We will walk this path of Life Hand in Hand
In every weather and on every Land
And when we are tried and too Old to stand
Our love will be there with us, till we are Alive and even after we DIE.............

Modern People with Conventional Thought

In India majority of the marriages are arrange marriages , the girl is supposed to marry the boy whom her parents select for her. India is a developing country , however people still live in the old customs of caste and creed......Rich and poor...... Black and white.....etc..
I remember the days when my parents were looking out for a so called "Right Match " for me.....
They were so called Modern boys brought up in Modern world, with the best of education and with best of jobs in Multi National Companies, who came to see me........But I was dissappointed when I knew that they all lived in a Fairy tale world where they wanted a " Very Beautiful, Big Eyes, Long Hair, Highly educated, Modern yet traditional girl, who could work and earn money for them , also look after the house" For them a girl was a possession to be displayed. They didnt want a companion for life , instead they wanted a Show-piece which can be placed in one corner of the house without any individuality......
In India it still so happens that the Boys family come over to the girls house to see her. Then there is interview session , wherein the boys family ask various questions to the girl. The girl is asked to walk, sing etc...... this is done to see if there is any defect in the girl....
Even after the marriage is fixed, the girls family is supposed to give some pre-decided amount also known as "Dowry" to the boy...
It makes me sad when i think that even today we are living in a male dominated country. Why can't the boys of today take a step forward towards changing the system...... Why do they call themselves Modern when their thoughts are still conventional???
Marriage I believe is the connection of 2 Hearts, soul and mind... Its not a business, its a life long commitment to each other.... In a marriage no one is superior or inferior but both are equal... without one the other is incomplete...... But people fail to understand this simple thing.... Bonding between two hearts is more superior then any relation in this world.......
Its so truly said
"Don't go for looks it may deceive
Don't go for fame cause that will fade away
Look for the internal qualities cause they are the ones that are going to stay..."

As usual I was feeling very sleepy on a Monday Morning.....
Those Monday morning blues when you have to come to work and you dont want to believe that your weekend is over so sooooon :(
I was just browsing through the internet and came across this cartoon........Its so very true....

Saree Day

So from a long time all girls in my team were planning to wear saree (Indian traditional wear). Finally THEEE Day was here , on a Monday morning everyone came to office in Sarees......
It was a very motivational day for the Guy's in our team ;)
Its said that "You look beautiful when you feel beautiful"
So true, Otherwise ............
Every time we face the Mirror,we worry about the calories , and the weight we have gained..
Every time we worry about the dark circles and the wrinkles on our face
Every time we crib about our messy hair,
And wish we were like the "Snow White" in the Fairy tales...
But there are times when we dress up and feel good about ourselves,
thats the time when beauty penetrates our mind and reflects on our face,
thats the time when we look at the mirror , Smile and say "hey Beautiful you are the Best"

So lets see all the beautiful girls in my team....

Finally.....Started Blogging

Finally.........I started blogging :) This TECHNO world has dragged me into it.... and here I am sharing my life with all you beautiful people out there.......
I used to read blogs of other people and always thought that I should have a blog of my own, where I can write about my experiences, my LIFE (which may not sound very exciting to some) .I will try my best not be boring...........;)
